The Death and Return of Superman

The Man of Steel meets his ultimate match when Doomsday comes to Earth. Doomsday arrives hell bent on destroying everything and everyone in his path, including the Justice League. So Superman finds himself in a fight to the finish, knowing that he is the only hero who can stand in the way of this monstrous creature and his unstoppable rampage of destruction. The citizens of Earth grapple to process the reality of a world without Superman, although the disappearance of his body suggests the possibility that he may still be alive. Meanwhile Steel, Cyborg Superman, Superboy and the Eradicator appear to claim the spot that Superman held in the hearts and minds of the people of Earth. In the end, however, only one can call himself the world’s true Superman.
