Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase

After Nancy Drew and her father leave Chicago and move to the small town of River Heights, the skateboarding 16-year-old finds the town very dull. She is hoping for some excitement when she gets a chance to help solve the mystery of the paranormal activity at the Twin Elms mansion. Are the exploding lightbulbs, creaking footsteps and sighting of a scary creature the ghost of the original owner looking for revenge or the work of the high-school bully? Nancy teams up with her best friends George and Bess, and the local "mean girl" Helen to crack the case.
