British High Court judge Fiona Maye is faced with a life-changing legal case concerning the survival of a teenage boy. She must rule on whether to order a blood transfusion for the boy, who is a Jehovah's Witness, just months short of his eighteenth birthday, and his family is refusing the procedure on religious grounds the procedure, even though it would save his life.
