You Were Never Really Here

A former U.S. soldier turned FBI agent on a sex-trafficking task force, devotes his considerable capacity for great violence to the rescue of kidnapped young women. But his latest job to retrieve Nina, the daughter of a senator, goes brutally wrong and his tightly controlled world, which includes caring for his dementia-addled mother, spirals nightmarishly into chaos. Joe is forced to confront his inability to save anyone - not Nina, not his mother and least of all himself.
