The Benefactor

Five years after causing the car accident that killed her parents, Francis L. Watts, aka Franny, has become close to Olivia, who is now a pregnant newlywed. So when she tells him that she and her husband Luke are moving back to Philadelphia, he wants to help. Franny extravagantly buys them the house that Olivia grew up in, pays off Luke's student loan and gets him a job. But before long, the couple is forced to navigate the all-consuming interest of their powerful, mysterious and possessive benefactor.
