Wolf Totem (Mandarin | with English Subtitles)

In 1967, a Chen Zhen travels from China to Mongolia during the Cultural Revolution to work to improve the lives of the nomads who have long lived on the land and the Han Chinese who have begun to migrate there. Against his government's orders to kill all wolves in order to protect the livestock, Chen rescues a wolf cub that he raises in secret.
