This is an epic retelling of the story of Moses, who was raised in the pharaoh's palace in Egypt, virtually a brother to Ramses. As adults, Ramses becomes the pharaoh, and they learn that Moses had been a Jewish foundling, born into the slave class. Moses becomes the defiant leader of the Israelites, leading 400,000 slaves to rise up against Ramses and escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
