Les Misérables

After Jean Valjean - an ex-convict once imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread - breaks parole, he is hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert. Valjean adopts a new identity and prospers as a factory owner. When he agrees to care for factory worker Fantine's young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.
