Who's That Knocking at My Door?

A working-class Italian-American guy from New York's Little Italy meets a more upper-class, educated girl on the ferry and starts to date her. Soon, however, he grows at conflict with his own Catholicism about having to marry a virgin--which she's not. They eventually break off and he returns to hanging out with his neighborhood pals.
