Mating Game

A tax examiner is sent to audit the records of a farm family, but finds out they've never paid taxes and do all their transactions through bartering. He grows attached to their charming ways, and soon gets in trouble with his superiors, who sock a fine on the poor family. The collector, however comes to the rescue, by uncovering that the government owes the family millions of dollars from an old Civil War debt.
