Heaven Can Wait

Seventy-year-old Henry Van Cleve assumes that the life he has led will assure he goes to Hell. So when he dies he goes directly there, he is surprised when the man at the gate tells him he may not be qualified for entry. Insisting that he was quite wicked, Henry recounts the story of his life, focusing on the many women he had known, including his wife Martha to whom he was married for twenty-five difficult years.
