Uxbal is a dedicated father of two small children who is struggling to make ends meet. Balancing a day job overseeing illegal immigrants who sell counterfeit merchandise with off-hours work as a spiritual medium who channels the recently deceased, Uxbal has his hands full at home as well - with his wife, Marambra, in the throes of mental illness. But when Uxbal receives some shocking news about his own health, he is forced to rethink life, death - and everything in between.
